The COX Law Library is a special collection of Real Estate Continuing Education classes written and presented by Colorado's foremost attorneys and sponsored by First American Title.  Each class specifically addresses the issues facing Colorado real estate professionals in today's market.

Oil and gas extraction brings enormous complexity and legal pitfalls to any real estate transaction. Are you ready to advise your clients?  Attorney Amy Mowry specializes in this field and has created this presentation specifically to assist real estate brokers. This streaming video course provides an overview of the laws pertaining to Oil and Gas Issues in Real Estate transactions. The information is practical and down-to-earth.

At the completion of her presentation, Ms. Mowry will be joined by attorney Damian Cox for a question and answer session.  Mr. Cox provides legal counsel to the agents of some of the largest brokerages in Colorado.  He will discuss the topic from he prespective of the real estate brokers he advises every day.

Completing this class awards the student with 2 CE credit hours.

Instructor - Amy M. Mowry

Amy centers her practice around real property and natural resources matters, helping landowners and interest holders navigate the complexities of property law across the Rocky Mountain region. Amy earned a J.D. in 2005 from the University of Wyoming, then worked for several Denver law firms, specializing in oil and gas title examination and advising oil and gas operators on exploration and development issues. She founded Mowry Law in 2015 to better tailor her services to the unique needs of each of her clients with real property concerns in Colorado, Wyoming, North Dakota and Montana.
